U.S. OVERVIEW

This quarter, job vacancies rose by a sharp 7.7%, approximately 459,000 additional listings between

January 6 and March 3. This growth marks a renewed expansion in the labor market following a

contraction towards the end of 2024, which itself came after a year of little change. Compared to one

year prior, vacancies have declined 0.7%. In the sections that follow, we’ll break down total vacancy

trends in the U.S. generally, by geography, and job categories.
